De Zonnebloem is committed to enriching the lives of people with physical disabilities and making them more socially connected. With more than 40.000 volunteers, the organization works every day to bring people together and prevent social isolation.
We have been working with De Zonnebloem for several years - not as a supplier, but as a strategic partner who helps explore how technology can strengthen their mission.
Together, we create online solutions that make it easier to reach and connect people. From CRM integrations and accessibility audits to campaigns such as "75 years of De Zonnebloem" and the development of the annual online lottery. The proceeds from the lottery directly supports the many activities De Zonnebloem organizes for people with physical disabilities.
For De Zonnebloem, accessibility is not an afterthought - it is a core value. We bring that mindset into everything we develop: from color contrasts to navigation, and from content structure to forms. A website is only truly successful when everyone can use it without barriers, regardless of disability, device or technical knowledge. That's why we continually work on improvements that contribute to digital inclusion, following the WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines).
The WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guideliness) are international standards that define how websites and digital products can be made accessible to everyone. This year, the European Accessibility Act (EAA) came into effect, requiring organizations to make digital products and services accessible according to these WCAG guidelines.
