New Orange is a digital technology agency. With around 90 team members, we create digital solutions for clients such as BabyBunting, Southern Phone and Moonee Valley Racing Club.
We work from our offices in Australia (Melbourne), the Netherlands ('s-Hertogenbosch and Tuil) and Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur).
As a Senior Front-end Developer, you'll build platforms, applications, and websites that are technically solid and visually polished. You understand how to set up components in a scalable, reusable, and maintainable way, and you make well-founded decisions on architecture, performance, and UX.
You'll work with technologies such as TypeScript, React, Next.js, and web components. Depending on the project, you'll help set the technical direction for the front end or collaborate with other disciplines on large-scale platforms. You take responsibility, think along with clients and designers, and ensure our codebases remain high-quality.
Whether you want to grow towards a lead developer, front-end architect, or fullstack role, we'll give you the space to do so.
01
You focus on working closely with your colleagues, as well as with specialists from our clients and partners.
02
You are a skilled professional who keeps developing yourself because you love what you do.
03
You take responsibility for yourself and your team. And you look beyond the boundaries of your own area of expertise.
We build digital products that make an impact. That requires smart choices, high technical standards, and strong teamwork. We work iteratively, usually in two-week sprints, with plenty of room for your own ideas.
We use tools like Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD to develop reliably and efficiently. We review each other's work, share knowledge, and spar about front-end architecture and design systems.
You'll regularly collaborate with colleagues in the Netherlands, Malaysia, and Australia and work directly with clients. We're pragmatic, but never lose sight of quality.

You'll build and maintain front-end components and architectures for platforms and web applications, working with technologies such as TypeScript, React, Next.js and Web Components. You'll contribute ideas on scalability, performance, and the overall structure of our codebases, while collaborating closely with colleagues from different disciplines as well as with clients. There's plenty of room to grow into a role that suits you best - whether that's lead, architect, or full-stack. Experience with Storybook is a plus.
You have solid experience with React end Typescript in an enterprise environment, and you naturally think in components while feeling comfortable with modern tooling. You communicate clearly with colleagues, designers, and clients, and you value quality while staying pragmatic when the situation calls for it. Above all, you take ownership of what you build.
We set high standards when it comes to craftsmanship and collaboration. Our people are at the heart of everything we do - they are our most valuable asset. We'd love to meet you and explore opportunities to work together.
You can expect a 32 to 40-hour work week, a competitive salary based on your skills and experience, and at least 27 vacation days based on full-time employment. We also offer a solid pension plan and plenty of room to grow: in your role, and both personally and professionally. That way, both you and New Orange continue to develop.
