Rebuilding the platform for scale 
When our collaboration began, vivaLAB was operating on a legacy platform that was costly, rigid and difficult to extend. The architecture did not align well with internal backend systems or core intellectual property, limiting speed and innovation.

We led a full rebuild of the platform — modernising the architecture, simplifying operations and creating a scalable foundation for long-term growth. The result is a high-performance subscription platform designed for flexibility, speed and continuous iteration.

As vivaLAB’s digital agency, we lead strategy, design, and development across the customer-facing platform.

The platform is powered by dotCMS for structured content management and editorial flexibility, and Chargebee for subscription management and billing infrastructure. Together, these technologies enable vivaLAB to manage complex subscription models efficiently, while maintaining a seamless customer experience.

The new architecture aligns closely with vivaLAB’s backend systems and protects its core intellectual property. It supports rapid feature deployment, reduces time to market, and enables continuous iteration without being constrained by legacy technology.
