My CP Guide is a digital resource hub created to help people with cerebral palsy, families, carers and professionals access trusted information more easily.
The platform brings together practical guidance, accessible content, personalised resources and support information across different life stages and user needs.

New Orange inherited My CP Guide after the project had already been partially completed by another agency. The platform had not yet launched, but the existing setup created challenges around stability, maintainability and long-term cost.
The priority was to assess the existing work, retain what still added value, and reshape the platform around a more sustainable architecture. This included reviewing the content model, frontend, authentication, search and hosting setup to support launch and future development without unnecessary complexity or cost.
Rather than rebuilding the platform from scratch, New Orange worked through the existing implementation and progressively restructured the platform around a clearer separation between content management, frontend delivery, authentication and search.
A key part of the engagement was reassessing the underlying architecture and identifying opportunities to simplify the platform. The project was transitioned to a modern headless architecture using Strapi and Nuxt, alongside a more appropriate cloud hosting and SaaS integration model aligned to the platform’s actual operational requirements.
This approach allowed the team to retain valuable existing work where appropriate, while replacing areas that created unnecessary complexity, maintenance overhead or long-term cost exposure.
The rebuilt platform uses a modern SaaS-style architecture, with Strapi CMS for structured content management, a Nuxt frontend for the public website, Auth0 for user authentication and Meilisearch for content search and discovery. Hosting is handled through Vercel and Strapi Cloud, with ActiveCampaign integrated to support marketing workflows.
The architectural changes simplified platform operations and creating a far more maintainable and scalable foundation for future development. The platform now supports structured and accessible content, personalised user experiences, search and content discovery, Easy English resources, scalable editorial workflows and ongoing product iteration without major infrastructure overhead.

New Orange helped move My CP Guide from a partially completed inherited build to a more stable, scalable and launch-ready digital platform.
By reevaluating the original technical approach and aligning the architecture more closely to the organisation’s actual needs, the project significantly reduced ongoing operational costs while improving maintainability and delivery flexibility.
The resulting platform provides a cleaner separation of concerns, a more sustainable technical foundation and the ability to continue evolving the product over time.
New Orange continues to work closely with the My CP Guide team on ongoing feature development, platform improvements and long-term product evolution.
